Yes! I think figs are the greatest fruit tree to grow if you live in a climate like mine. I think they are much more satisfying to eat than other fruits that I grow. GoustiFruit, you could plant it in a pot. But if you can grow it outside, make sure to leave a bit of space because they get big around (not necessarily tall), and they love sun.
Next tree I'm going to plant will be a fig tree... just need to find the place !
